A Level Graphics Sketchbook - 'Growth and Evolution' Theme

Here we have my 2014 Sketchbook for an A Level project. The starting theme was Growth and Evolution.

I explored different ways of answering the question 'Who Am I?' - and eventually settled on illustrating a poem called 'Anchor Baby'. I used various techniques to illustrate this project including but not limited to using finger prints, ink and bleach, and photoshop. 

This sketch book takes you through the development of the idea, research into artists that explore the same themes and planning of the final product. You will get to see the good, the bad, and the ugly of this process - the process being key here. I also demonstrate different mediums and how they can be used throughout the sketchbook.
